It`s situated at the junction of Alajuela, Guanacaste and Puntarenas provinces. It ranges from 1.200 - 1.800 metres in elevation and was set up by Quakers. It`s the most valuable complex of tropical cloud forests in America. There are massive trees with huge roots. It`s destinguished by discovered in 1964 the golden frogs.
